30th January 2010

Thank you so much for all the great comments over the weekend. I really enjoyed reading each and every one, some of them made me laugh out loud, some of them made me smile and pause for thought. I certainly think we should do it every weekend. What do you think? It was fun!

  1. i didn't realize that they were called trotters! i don't know if this is because i live in america, or because i don't eat meat. i'm glad to know it now!

    can i ask what do you do with them? :)

  2. Oh, I'm so excited! You are braver than I! Some freshly cooked pork rinds are about as adventurous as I get when it comes to the edible portions of a pig. How did you prepare them?

  4. Don't be to impressed by my bravery yet. I didn't have the courage so we have frozen them to eat next weekend. We also bought oxe tail and we are going to stew them all togeather in a pot for 4 and a half hours. we'll see, hmmmmm....

  7. FYI here in Brazil it's one of the ingredients of the famous dish Feijoada. :)
