I've been busy....


I've been taking photos and writing about lots of the other things I've been making and doing. If you're interested take a look over here! I hope you enjoy.   1. TODAY I SAW a man in a kilt...this may not be unusual for you, but it doesn't happen in Cornwall very often! He was going to a wedding. And it was VERY windy!

    chefs from a restaurant seated around a table, eating (after feeding a bunch of people the whole day, it was THEIR time to eat!).

    if i knew how to draw like you do, i'll definitely choose this scene. since i don't, i'll just save it in my memory, :)

  11. Today I saw my daughter have her first taste of ice cream - and she loved it! The three of us shared an ice cream cone and I hope it becomes a tradition.

  12. Today I saw...an x-ray of my 16 year old's lower legs and feet...yes, he has very flat feet and yes, I am told, he is still growing...he's 6 feet 3 inches already.

  16. Today I saw (am seeing) a near white out in my little town in VA. We haven't had a good snow for about 4 or 5 years and there's about a foot on the ground.

  26. TODAY I SAW. . . . . four pairs of bare feet peeking out from under the quilt on our bed this morning--my husbands, my own, and that of my 4 and 3 year old sons who had obviously invaded our bed at some point overnight.

    If you saw it, Jill, surely you would have drawn it! :)

  28. Today I saw a blackbird bullying a heron. He kept creeping up and nipping the heron's tail before running away again, and then coming back and giving it another go, it went on for about 10 minutes before he got board. I wish I had a video camera.

Today I saw my daughter's timeplan of how she expects her birthday to go...."wake up, go to school, pack bag for ballet, unwrap gifts"...each step of the day accounted for until she goes to bed. At the bottom of the paper she wrote 'I'll try to keep to this plan' and signed it ;-) She's 12 on Thursday

  31. Today I saw lots of green olives in a pile as I picked them out of the chicken spaghetti that my mother-in-law cooked for lunch yesterday. She packed some leftovers so I could enjoy lunch today (well, enjoy all but the olives!).

    Will the groundhog have seen his shadow this morning?

    The colour of the sweater complements the purple heather beautifully!

    Today I saw a woman carrying a fish tank with a turtle swimming in it outside. I wondered if he was freezing, since it's below 30F here in Philadelphia!
