To Dad,

When I look at this photo I remember how much we all enjoyed our summer holidays. You were so relaxed and happy. We'd spend all day swimming and playing on the beach, in the evenings you'd cook on the bbq and sometimes I'd help. You'd relax and read your book with a beer in the evenings and as the evening went on you'd play cards with the rest of the gang.

Now that you've retired everyday is like a holiday for you. You can enjoy each peaceful moment and relax as much as you want. It's good that you were brave enough to move with Mum and find a place that 'is just like being on holiday'. When I visited recently I really saw the way you both spend your time doing what you enjoy. I think it's wonderful.

I know I haven't been sending postcards recently but some days I see something and say to Daniel 'That would make a great Today I Saw'. So I'm taking addresses for those days when I see something great and I happen to have 10 minutes spare to draw.
