Crafting for Courage

A group of friends have organized a sale of crafts from this Thursday 24th to Monday 28th. We will be selling our items from our Etsy shops and 100% of the proceeds will be going to Save the Children Japan Earthquake Tsunami Relief for their work in the devastated areas of Japan.

In Japanese culture the dragonfly symbolizes courage, strength and happiness. It was chosen as the symbol for our charity sale. Margie made this symbolic image and Joanie has created this beautiful banner (as well as doing a lot of organising, thank you Joanie!).

Others taking part in the sale so far include Margie of 'ressurection fern', Joanie of 'nini makes', Sonia of 'Cozy Homemaking', Nanou who makes wonderful creatures, Pat of 'zen crafting', and the list is getting bigger!

I'll be making watercolour painting for the sale and sharing more about them through the week.
This week I'll concentrate on the sale and making items for it, so please understand if there are no Today I Saw drawings this week.

Please do spread the word about this sale. Thank you. x x
